Riverwalk Center - January 11th, 2025 @ 6:30pm
The Risan Project is producing an inaugural fundraiser at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 with the Rocky Mountain Mustang Refuge to raise funds to support our mission as a refuge for Wild Mustangs and Burros. The event will include a silent auction, a screening of our short film with a presentation that will be followed by a concert with Colorado band, Salem, and raffle.

The Risan Project Spring Alaska Tour features concerts with Salem with screenings of Risan Media's short documentary film titled, Northward, that tells the story of Salem and touring and snowboarding throughout Alaska as well as screenings of Risan Media's expedition-based glaciological climate change documentary film titled, Cresta Alta.
Salem has toured throughout Alaska many times and has performed at UAA, UAF, the Beartooth Theatre First Tap, Humpys, the Alaskan Bar and Hotel, the Fairview Inn, The Blue Loon, The Marlin, the Alyeska Resort, The Pioneer Bar Bamboo Room, the Juneau Folk Festival, Skagway Brewing, Alaska Rendezvous Lodge, Tsaina Lodge, the Fat Mermaid, The Pipeline, the Denali Salmon Bake, the Downeast, Alice's Champaign Palace, the Long Rifle Lodge, the Robelake Lodge, the Sunrise Inn, the Yukon Bar and The SE Alaska State Fair.

THE RISAN PROJECT'S TODD ANDERS JOHNSON
Todd Anders Johnson is a socially-conscious multi-media and event producer, performing artist, educator and snowboard mountaineer. With the Risan Brands family of companies, Todd merges his passions for the environment, the arts, cannabis and outdoor recreation.
Risan Studies elevates the community with nuanced educational programs centered around world music, drumming and multi-media production.
Salem performs Todd Anders Johnson's socially-conscious music that has been featured in a variety of ski and snowboard films. The band is comprised of skiers and snowboarders and has performed at many North American snow sports events, including solar powered concerts with tours powered by vegetable oil.
Risan Media produces cinematic film and video and has produced video projects for Snoop Dogg’s MERRY JANE and Leafly. We have also worked with international NGOs and have joined several remote glaciological expeditions with international scientists to document sustainability and glaciological climate change research.
Risan Project has produced multi-media events throughout North America that feature concerts backed by engaging content with experiential marketing activations and advertising from a variety of partners from the outdoor, environmental and cannabis industries.
Risan Consulting Group has developed CPG, bulk and white label sales, marketing and advertising with a variety of cannabis brands, cultivations and dispensaries throughout Colorado for over 10 years.
Produced by Risan Media, the Cresta Alta film documents a journey to Alaska, Iceland, Chile and Peru to document glaciological research expeditions and sustainability.
Todd’s passions for exploring big mountains brought him from Vermont to Seattle and then Alaska, where his first of many tours and expeditions began throughout the glaciated state. Todd now lives with his family high in the mountains of Colorado.

Next Thursday, the Risan Project is back in Anchorage on their annual tour of Alaska, bringing with them Colorado- based band Salem. The Risan Project's mission is to raise awareness of climate change through entertainment and action-based engagement, with their Alaskan tour focusing on snow sports like skiing and snowboarding. Combining film, music and activism, Risan's Alaska Tour offers audiences the chance to learn more about how to protect and enjoy nature while jamming to some incredible music.

Salem will bring Todd Anders Johnson's socially conscious hip-hop, jazz and neo-soul compositions to Main Street Grill in the Riverwalk at Edwards on Friday, March 10. The band travels with Risan Project tours, which include concerts, ski and snowboard film premiers and avalanche awareness videos with partners in the outdoor and cannabis industries. Salem will perform with film premiers of Absinthe Films' latest snowboard film, a/terForever, along with ski and snowboard videos from Inspired Media and Luca Rolli, cannabis animation from Nug Nation and Mary Jane's Medicinals and educational videos from the Marijuana Policy Project and AIARE. Local partners for this show are Roots RX and Tumbleweed.

ASPEN – Most everything about Todd Anders Johnson lines up quite neatly, as a left-leaning, environmentalist, socially engaged type. Johnson has done work with Bono’s One Campaign, an organization dedicated to fighting poverty, and has been affiliated with the Climate Project Canada. Not content to simply join other movements, in 2009, Johnson formed his own organization, the Risan Project, that links music and sporting events with alternative energy and sustainability efforts.

The Down East is making sure the ski season stays alive and strong next Wednesday with the showing of the 2011 ski film “Being There” and slush-skiing rock of the band Salem from Breckenridge, Colo.
